Balnced

Every habit counts. Do more good than bad, and watch it add up.

Everyone has good habits and bad ones. Balnced logs yours as wins and setbacks and turns them into one honest level, so you always know where you stand.

Everything stays on your phone. No account, no tracking, ever.

The Balnced home screen: a level of 201, a six-month chart climbing above its baseline of 165, and timeframe chips from one day to all time.
How it works

Good habits, the odd indulgence. Both get a place to land.

Make your own moves

Track what matters to you

Everyone's good habits and bad ones are different, so you name your own. Add each win and setback yourself, weight it 1 to 10 by how much it matters, and pick an icon. Your tracker, your rules.

The Your moves page: custom wins like Trained, Ate well, and Early night, and setbacks like Skipped training and Had a drink, each with an adjustable impact weight.
Log your wins

A win in two taps

Your good habits become wins: name them, weight them 1 to 10, and log one in two taps whenever it happens. Every win lifts your level.

The Wins tray open above the pill navigation, with quick-add and win chips like Ate well and Early night.
Log your setbacks

Bad habits count too

Setbacks happen, so log those too. The graph stays honest, dips when you slip, and shows you the climb back. No streaks, no guilt.

The home screen below baseline: an orange downward chart, a level of 148, and the Setbacks tray with chips like Had a drink and Skipped training.
Watch your level

One number that keeps score

Your level starts at zero. Wins lift it, setbacks pull it, and nothing else moves it. Doing more good than bad becomes a number you can actually see rise.

A single day on the home screen: the level at 201, climbing 36 above its baseline.
Spot your chains

See the slide before it starts

After a couple of days, Trends starts noticing the chains behind your weeks: which bad habits follow which, and which wins bring more wins. A heads-up when a slide usually starts means one win can stop it.

The Trends page with a heads-up alert and chain cards showing what starts a slide, like Had a drink followed by Skipped training.
Built in

Small tools that make logging easy

Home-screen widgets

A level graph at a glance, plus a Quick Log widget that records a move without opening the app.

Gentle reminders

Gentle daily reminders, entirely on your phone. Add as many as suit your day, pick their times, and turn them off whenever you like.

Six themes

Light, Dark, Graphite, Blossom, Mono, and Noir. Pick the one that feels like yours.

Import and export

Export your records as a JSON file whenever you want them, and import that file back in to pick up where you left off. They go only where you choose to send them.

A baseline you set

Drag your baseline up as your normal improves. It sits under your level as a reference line, so one glance shows whether you're above or below your own normal.

Guided onboarding

A short setup personalises your starting moves, then a quick in-app tour shows you around.

Widgets

Your level, right on the home screen

The level widget keeps your score in sight all day, and the Quick Log widget records a win or a setback in one tap, without even opening the app. Doing more good than bad starts with never losing sight of the number.

The Balnced level widget: a level of 254, up 252, with a climbing chart above a dashed baseline. The Balnced Quick Log widget: one-tap buttons for Trained plus 7, Ate well plus 5, and Skipped training minus 6.
Make it yours

A clean, minimalist tracker that stays calm

One number, one chart, and nothing shouting for your attention. Choose Light, Dark, Graphite, Blossom, Mono, or Noir, and Balnced keeps the same quiet focus in every one.

FAQ

Quick answers

Is my data private?
Yes. Everything you log stays on your iPhone, in the app's private database. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no cloud. The full Privacy Policy has the details.
What happens after the free trial?
The trial lasts 3 days and starts after onboarding, with no payment up front. After it ends, membership is $1.99 per month as an auto-renewing App Store subscription, billed through your Apple ID. To avoid any charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, in your App Store account settings.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Open the app, pick your starting moves, and begin.
Can I export or import my data?
Yes, both. Export my data, in Settings, creates a JSON file of all your records on your device, and it goes only where you choose to send it. You can bring that file back into Balnced any time with import, so your history moves with you to a new phone or a fresh install.
What is a chain?
A chain is a pattern in your own logs: one move that tends to be followed by another. Say "Had a drink" is usually followed by "Skipped training" the same day, and "Takeaway" the day after: that's a chain. After a couple of days of logging, Trends starts noticing yours. It shows how often each chain happens, how strong it is, and which move usually kicks it off, so you can break a slide early with one win, and lean into the wins that bring more wins.
Is it a game?
A little. Your level is a score of sorts: wins push it up, setbacks pull it down, and Trends shows you how to keep it climbing. But there are no streaks, no leaderboards, and no guilt when life wobbles. Balance, not perfection.
Is this a health app?
No: Balnced is a self-tracking tool. You log your own wins and setbacks, and the app turns them into a level, a graph, and patterns. It does not give medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those. If you're struggling, please speak to a professional.
